About Me
Both personally and professionally, I have a compassionate and deeply intimate understanding of the unique challenges that someone may experience with an anxiety disorder, trauma, or obsessive-compulsive disorder. Frequently, these are compounded by additional difficulties or co-occurring disorders that can leave someone feeling lost and isolated. Self-esteem can be seriously impacted, and the guilt and shame can be overwhelming.
My first priority is to create a space where you feel comfortable enough to explore, dissect, and heal from these challenges. From there, therapy is not a one-size-fits-all. I take assessment of your symptoms and concerns seriously so that I can offer a personalized, tailored approach to your needs. My therapeutic style draws upon multiple evidence-based modalities, to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
Born and raised around northern Nevada, I graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2018 with a Master of Social Work degree.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of populations both in and out of clinical settings. This includes adolescents with co-occurring disorders, individuals who have experienced incarceration, and college students navigating academic and personal stress.
When I’m not in session, I spend time training my German Shepherd, Sonny, as he strives to become a therapy dog.
